Legal First Aid

I have worked in a high street solicitors practice for 22 years, during that time I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in relation to Private Family Law, Mental Health Law, Public Law and Criminal Law.

Working in the legal profession has allowed me to witness first hand the devastating impact the government cuts to Legal Aid have had upon individuals and families. Costly solicitor fees and cuts to Legal Aid have made access to justice increasingly difficult. I just wish to hopefully 'bridge that gap'.

I have empathy and understanding to many situations people may find themselves facing.  I will be on hand to offer support and guidance throughout their journey in relation to family matters

What People have said:

  • " I was totally overwhelmed by all the Family Law procedures and court papers at a time when I was at my lowest..not being able to see my granddaughter... I went to the drop in at Fallowfield library and got some great advice and then a few weeks later when I had to submit court papers Caroline patiently went through everything with me over the phone. If you need family law advice..go and see her
If you're caught up in a family dispute...if you're being denied access to your child/grandchild..talk to Caroline...really helped me get through the court process."

Dawn

  • I was referred to Caroline by a friend.
At this point my daughter and I thought there was little hope in the fight we have been fighting! Until we spoke with Caroline, Her advice and support has been remarkable, and nothing was too much trouble. We were pointed in the right direction and things appear to be looking brighter.😃 Thank you once again. Caroline Edwards for all the support you have given my self and my family.
    It is greatly appreciated. 😬"
