Assistance at Court -  McKenzie Friend

The role of a McKenzie Friend offers support and guidance at court. Many people who find themselves in the court arena for the first time may experience confusion and helplessness in such a formal environment and may well feel overwhelmed.

A  McKenzie friend can:

  • Help to prepare documents for court.
  • Help with case papers and set out your case.
  • Give help and guidance.

At a Court Hearing:

  • Provide support.
  • Take notes .
  • Help keep the client focused on the issues.

Legal First Aid is a support and assistance service.

Legal First Aid does not provide legal advice but will point you in the right direction to a solicitor/barrister when  specific advice is required
