About Legal First Aid

Here to Help You

Working in the legal profession at a solicitor's firm for 22 years, allowed me to witness first hand, the devastating impact that government cuts to legal aid have had upon individuals and families. Costly solicitor fees and limited public funding have made access to justice increasingly difficult.

Legal First Aid has been operating since July 2018 and was created to give everyone the chance to access the legal system. My goal is to bridge the gap and assist those who would otherwise be left to navigate the legal system on their own.

“Caroline was very helpful when I needed a statement for the court. She visited me at home and we discussed what to put in the statement. Because I was representing myself, she also contacted the court and explained my situation to them. She gave me some legal advice when I needed. I would highly recommend Caroline.”
